- Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.

Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- A wise man will heed commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to grief. - While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come.
- Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
that they may have life,
and have it in abundance. - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he promised he would be. Come and see the place where he lay.”
- Then Jesus said to him,
“You have come to believe
because you have seen me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have come to believe.” - Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.
- We also know
that the Son of God has come
and given us understanding
so that we can know the one who is true.
And we are in the one who is true,
since we are in his Son Jesus Christ.
He is the true God and eternal life. - Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.
- In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- And yet he is aware of everywhere I go;
if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold.
My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established;
I have followed his way and never turned aside. - Wealth and honor are from you,
you reign over all.
In your hand are power and might;
it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all. - I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
from where will I receive help?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
