- If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - If you keep my commandments,

Fear God and keep his commandments,

do not let me stray from your precepts. - You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
- Anyone who has received my commandments
and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him
and reveal myself to him. - Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
- It is the Lord, your God, whom you are to follow. You must fear him and observe his commandments and obey what he tells you and serve him and hold fast to him.

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his precepts. - You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.
- Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.

if our hearts do not condemn us,
we can approach God with confidence
and receive from him whatever we ask,
because we obey his commandments
and do whatever is pleasing to him. - Take heed to follow the commandments and the laws that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you: to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways and to observe his commandments, holding fast to him and serving him with all your heart and all your soul.
- When you look at the tassels, you will remember the commandments of the Lord and keep them. Thus you will not prostitute yourselves by following after the lusts in your own heart or your own eyes.

All the nations on the earth will be blessed through your descendants, for Abraham listened to my voice and observed that which I ordered: my commandments, my ordinances and my laws.
- And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good.

- When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt.
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
causing the heart to rejoice.
The commands of the Lord are clear,
giving light to the eyes. - You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
