- For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
- These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
- Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
- Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
- All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
- For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.
- And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
- And I shall walk in a wide place,
for I have sought your precepts. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
- Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
- Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.
- Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
- Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.
- Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
- For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin!
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.
