I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus… 1 Corinthians 1:10

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10	I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. community family transformation
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Romans 12:1	And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. mercy holiness obedience

Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:10-11	So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. calling obedience kingdom
For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:21	So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Jesus death resurrection
Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2	Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. faith evangelism salvation
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:17	So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. faith life following
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. Psalm 112:5	Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. generosity mercy honesty
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, “There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him. Luke 13:10-17	One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath day. “There are six days of the week for working,” he said to the crowd. “Come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath.” But the Lord replied, “You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water? This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” This shamed his enemies, but all the people rejoiced at the wonderful things he did. miracles healing sabbath
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11	The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Jesus Spirit life
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay. Matthew 10:8	Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! healing giving receiving
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 1 Corinthians 15:56	For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. sin law idols
But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:5-6	But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. trust worship heart
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Proverbs 14:12	There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. righteousness life sin
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. Hebrews 6:1-2	So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. conversion faith baptism
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9	If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. faith speaking Jesus
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. Proverbs 11:4	Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death. money righteousness materialism
Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death. Proverbs 10:2	Tainted wealth has no lasting value, but right living can save your life. honesty money righteousness
For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live. Ezekiel 18:32	I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live! conversion death eternal life
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 18:21	The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. speaking blessing self-control
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6	So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Spirit peace life
So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28	So also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. sin sacrifice salvation
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23	For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. sin eternal life reward
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3	Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? Jesus baptism
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Hebrews 9:14	Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Jesus Spirit purification

Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
