- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
- For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.
- Therefore also now, saith the Lord,
turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
- Set me as a seal upon thine heart,
as a seal upon thine arm:
for love is strong as death;
jealousy is cruel as the grave:
the coals thereof are coals of fire,
which hath a most vehement flame.
