Chinese (traditional)- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
- May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, even as we also do toward you.
- Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
- Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.
- For Yahweh loves justice,
and doesn’t forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - Unless Yahweh builds the house,
they who build it labor in vain.
Unless Yahweh watches over the city,
the watchman guards it in vain. - A fool has no delight in understanding,
but only in revealing his own opinion. - For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.
- Like water reflects a face,
so a man’s heart reflects the man. - A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. - Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness,
for you reward every man according to his work. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Wicked people earn deceitful wages,
but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
- He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
- Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
- Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.
- To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend;
even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him, because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.
- Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit. Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil.Next verse! With image
