Chinese (traditional)- Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
- Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.
- For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish,
nor fruit be in the vines,
the labor of the olive fails,
the fields yield no food,
the flocks are cut off from the fold,
and there is no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in Yahweh.
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - Unless Yahweh builds the house,
they who build it labor in vain.
Unless Yahweh watches over the city,
the watchman guards it in vain. - For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.
- Like water reflects a face,
so a man’s heart reflects the man. - A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. - Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness,
for you reward every man according to his work. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Wicked people earn deceitful wages,
but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
- He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
- Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.
- Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
- For Yahweh loves justice,
and doesn’t forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
- For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
- He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love. But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”Next verse! With image
