  • And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
  • The Lord preserveth the strangers;
    he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
    but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
  • Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
    and why art thou disquieted within me?
    hope thou in God:
    for I shall yet praise him,
    who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
  • Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
  • And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
  • Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
  • O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
    Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
    thou understandest my thought afar off.

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
