- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and light dwells with him. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
- All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
- How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
- If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
- You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
- I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.
- For thus says the high and lofty one
who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
I dwell in the high and holy place,
and also with those who are contrite and humble in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite. - In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
- One who forgives an affront fosters friendship,
but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend. - And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them as their God;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.” - For if you truly amend your ways and your doings, if you truly act justly one with another, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own hurt, then I will dwell with you in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your ancestors forever and ever.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us. Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and of spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God.Next verse!With image
