Bible Verses about 'Ear'
- When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law,
even his prayer is detestable. - For as it is written,
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,
nor has the human heart imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.” - I love the Lord because he has heard my voice
and listened to my cry for mercy,
because he has inclined his ear to me
on the day when I called out to him. - O Lord, hear my prayer,
incline your ear to my supplications.
In your faithfulness respond to me
with your righteousness. - My son, concentrate attentively on my words;
pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you.
Do not let them slip from your mind;
keep them forever in your heart. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
do not be deaf to my cry
or ignore my weeping.
For I am a wayfarer before you,
a nomad like all my ancestors. - Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops.

for whom I have been searching earnestly.
My soul yearns for you
and my body thirsts for you,
like the earth when it is parched,
arid and without water. - Two are better than one:
they earn a far greater reward for their toil. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry. - And so you should put to death everything in your nature that is earthly: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desires, and greed (which is idolatry).
- If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.

The Lord is the eternal God,
the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding cannot be scrutinized. - Now we know that if the earthly tent in which we live is destroyed, we have a dwelling prepared for us by God, a dwelling in the heavens, not made with human hands, that will be eternal.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
- May God continue to bless us
and be revered to the ends of the earth. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cries of supplication. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory shine over all the earth. - I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

the world and all who live in it. - The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is filled with his kindness. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and let your glory shine over all the earth. - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and barren, and darkness covered the abyss while the Spirit of God hovered over the waters.
- In my anguish I cried out to the Lord
and called to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears. - Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.
- Be still and acknowledge that I am God,
exalted among the nations,
exalted on the earth. - Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to all those on whom his favor rests. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer.
However, the face of the Lord
is set against those who do evil. - Whom do I have in heaven except you?
And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth. - Can someone hide in a secret place
so that I cannot see him?
Do I not fill heaven and earth? - There is no one on earth who is so righteous
that he does nothing but good and never sins. - Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name
that is above all other names,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil,
to erase all memory of them from the earth. - I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- God blessed them and told them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth; subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the seas and over the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.”
- Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
- Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To the one seated on the throne
and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever.” - As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts above your thoughts. - He builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth—
the Lord is his name. - I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
from where will I receive help?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Ah, Lord God, you made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm. Nothing is impossible for you.
- The Lord will become king over the whole earth. When that day comes, he will be the only Lord, and his name will be the only name.
- Before the mountains were brought forth
or the earth and the world came into existence,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.
- Now, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession from among all the peoples, for the entire earth is mine.
- This is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him.
All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
So shall it be. Amen. - For so has the Lord commanded us to do, saying,
‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles
so that you may bring salvation
to the farthest corners of the earth.’ - Above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth, or use any oaths at all. Let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No.” Otherwise you may be condemned.
