- God detests the prayers
of a person who ignores the law. - That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,

what God has prepared

Then you will find favor with both God and people,
and you will earn a good reputation. - Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

says the Lord. - And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
- I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth! - Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God. - So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.
- O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!
