FOR IT IS GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU TO AND WILL (2/4)

  • What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
  • It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry.
  • Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity!
  • For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
  • Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
  • If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
  • But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
  • But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
  • There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
  • Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
  • Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
  • There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
  • But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
  • I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
  • Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
  • And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
  • For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night.
  • And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
  • Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
  • Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
  • Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
  • How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
  • These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
  • Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
  • All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Next verse! With image
