- Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
- For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

- And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. - Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- For one who finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
- And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
