Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Fear not'
- In love there is no fear;
indeed, perfect love casts out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears
has not yet achieved perfection in love. - Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
- For I, the Lord, am your God
and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you. - Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
- The reward of humility and fear of the Lord
is wealth, honor, and life. - The fear of the Lord provides instruction in wisdom,
and to be humble is the way to honor. - Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and give you help,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those who trust in his kindness. - Even if an army encamps against me,
my heart will not succumb to fear;
even if war breaks out against me,
I will not have my trust shaken. - It is better to have a little and fear the Lord
than to possess immense wealth and suffer anguish. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - One who despairs should have the support of his friends
even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools are those who despise wisdom and instruction. - The fear of others will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Do not pride yourself on your own wisdom;
fear the Lord and turn your back on evil.
This will provide healing for your flesh
and restore strength to your body. - For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, “Abba! Father!”
- The fear of the Lord implies hatred of evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil ways and perverse speech. - Blessed are all those who fear the Lord
and walk in his ways. - Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.
- Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.
- Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
- This is the end of my teaching.
All has been heard.
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for that is the responsibility of everyone. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
those who are guided by it will grow in understanding.
His praise will last forever. - May God continue to bless us
and be revered to the ends of the earth.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom should I be afraid?Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
