- Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - Who can find a virtuous woman?
for her price is far above rubies. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
- He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man.
Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
