  • And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
  • For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
  • But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
  • For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
