Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Forth'
- Before the mountains were brought forth
or the earth and the world came into existence,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - So shall my word be
that issues forth from my mouth.
It will not return to me unfulfilled,
but it will accomplish my purpose
and achieve what I sent it forth to do. - But from you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
among the tiniest of the clans of Judah,
from you will come forth for me
one who is to be a ruler in Israel,
one whose origins are from the distant past,
from ancient times. - He sent forth his word and healed them,
saving them from the grave. - When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
- Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. - Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”
- Arise and shine forth, for your light has come
and the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you. - The heavens proclaim the glory of God;
the firmament shows forth the work of his hands.
One day imparts that message to the next,
and night conveys that knowledge to night. - For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom;
from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding. - The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- Jesus answered, “As it is written:
‘Man does not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.’ ” - Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.
- Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb,
so shall he depart, naked as he came,
with nothing remaining from his labor
that he can carry away in his hands. - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, is going forth with you. He will never leave you or abandon you.
- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.
- Commit your way to the Lord;
place your trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause, like the noonday. - And yet he is aware of everywhere I go;
if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold.
My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established;
I have followed his way and never turned aside. - The Lord will protect you against all evil;
he will watch over your life.
The Lord will watch over your coming and your going
both now and forevermore. - A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart.
- I came from the Father
and have come into the world.
Now I am leaving the world
and returning to the Father. - She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.
- Produce good fruit as proof of your repentance.
Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.”It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.
