The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth. | The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. |
However, the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. | But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |
From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.” | From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. |

If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him. | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |
I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father. | I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. |
And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” | And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
All this knowledge comes from the Lord of hosts whose counsel is wonderful and whose wisdom is great. | This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. |
She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. | And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. |
This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |
