Give (2/4)

  • I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
  • Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
  • What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
  • I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
    Whoever eats this bread will live forever;
    and the bread that I will give
    is my flesh, for the life of the world.
  • Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
  • Because in my eyes you are precious,
    because you are honored and I love you,
    I will give people in exchange for you
    and nations in return for your life.
  • The Lord bless you and keep you.
    The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
    The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace.
  • Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
  • I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord;
    I will sing your praises among the nations.
  • Give proper consideration to those widows who are truly in need.
  • Wealth and honor are from you,
    you reign over all.
    In your hand are power and might;
    it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all.
  • I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to render an account for every careless word they utter.
  • Do not work for food that perishes
    but for the food that endures for eternal life,
    which the Son of Man will give you.
    For it is on him
    that God the Father has set his seal.
  • I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
  • May the Lord grant strength to his people.
    May the Lord bless his people with peace.
  • She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
  • You did not choose me.
    Rather, I chose you.
    And I appointed you
    to go out and bear fruit,
    fruit that will remain,
    so that the Father may give you
    whatever you ask him in my name.
  • The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”
  • May he give you your heart’s desire
    and grant you success in all your plans.
  • For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom.
  • And you will say on that day:
    Give thanks to the Lord,
    invoke his name;
    make known his deeds among the nations;
    proclaim that his name is exalted.
  • For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.
  • If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.
  • To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne.
  • I give them eternal life,
    and they will never perish.
    No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
    My Father who has given them to me
    is greater than all,
    and no one can snatch them
    out of the Father’s hand.
    I and the Father are one.

I will offer praise to you, O Lord,
with my whole heart;
I will recount all your wondrous deeds.
