Chinese (traditional)- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
- And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
- And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
- But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth.
And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
