- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

- The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eyes. - But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”
- To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
- I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - Deliverance belongs to the Lord;
may your blessing be on your people! Selah - For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles,
so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.”
- Cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
