- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. - And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
- Arise, O Lord!
O God, lift up Your hand!
Do not forget the humble. - There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - For You, O God, have tested us;
You have refined us as silver is refined.
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.Next verse!With image
