- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.
- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
- Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
- The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
