- Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
- Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
- This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
- How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.

- Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
- Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
- How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
- Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
- I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.
- Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. - Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds;
rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. - We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Next verse!With image
