- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
- On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word.Next verse!With image
