For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
