- I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

- You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
- For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
- After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
