- But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
- Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
- Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life. - Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
- He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him. - Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
- Those who control their tongue will have a long life;
opening your mouth can ruin everything. - So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.
- Unless the Lord builds a house,
the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the Lord protects a city,
guarding it with sentries will do no good. - Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.
- Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.
- How can a young person stay pure?
By obeying your word. - Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.
- The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever. - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked. - He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber. - Honesty guides good people;
dishonesty destroys treacherous people.
But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” For the Lord gave us this command when he said,
‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles,
to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’Next verse!With image
