- Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
- Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
- This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
- Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.
- Whoever is patient has great understanding,
but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. - God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.
- The father of a righteous child has great joy;
a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him. - And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night. - The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free. - We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
- When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Next verse!With image
