Bible Verses about 'Having'

  • As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
  • And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
  • Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
  • Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
  • God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
  • Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
  • Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
  • So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
  • By which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.
  • For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.
  • For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
  • Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
    Shout, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King comes to you!
    He is righteous, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding on a donkey,
even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
  • For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
  • Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  • Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
  • But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
  • But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
  • For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
  • Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.
  • Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
  • Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
  • He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
  • Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.
  • Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous.
  • Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.
