- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
- For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
- Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors! - If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
- Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
- Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”
- From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you. - For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
- The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge. - Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens,
and founds his vault upon the earth;
who calls for the waters of the sea,
and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
the Lord is his name. - When your eyes light upon it, it is gone;
for suddenly it takes wings to itself,
flying like an eagle toward heaven. - Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
- I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.
- Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters.God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
