- Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah - This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
- Seek good and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
just as you have said. - They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, my special possession on the day when I act, and I will spare them as parents spare their children who serve them.
- Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.
- Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” But they did not hear or heed me, says the Lord.
- Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.
- If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings; indeed I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
- Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
- Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
- Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
- Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors! - And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”
- From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens.
Let your glory be over all the earth. - Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

and let your glory be over all the earth. - I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
- Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

for suddenly it takes wings to itself,
flying like an eagle toward heaven. - Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
- I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.
- Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
- For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens;
your faithfulness extends to the clouds. - By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and all their host by the breath of his mouth. - So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.”
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
- But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
- For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
- The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
