- “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah - This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. - Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved! - This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. - Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Execute true justice,
Show mercy and compassion
Everyone to his brother.
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,
The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.’ - “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.
- “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” - “If you will not hear,
And if you will not take it to heart,
To give glory to My name,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,
And I will curse your blessings.
Yes, I have cursed them already,
Because you do not take it to heart.” - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
- And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
- In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
