Beloved, we are God’s children now. What we shall be has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. Everyone who has this hope in him keeps himself pure, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. purification family heaven

However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God. John 1:12	But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. faith Father children
But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life. John 4:14	But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. eternal life transformation receiving
And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Hebrews 5:9	In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. salvation Savior eternal life
Therefore, observe the commandments of the Lord, your God. Walk in his ways and fear him. Deuteronomy 8:6	So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him. obedience law awe

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness. Psalm 33:18	But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. reliability God awe
The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both. Romans 14:3	Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. judgment food
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him. 1 John 3:21-22	Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. trust law obedience
Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him. John 6:56	Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. body blood Jesus
As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. Psalm 103:13	The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. love fear Father
This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit. 1 John 4:13	And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. God Spirit nearness
If your brother should sin, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times to say, ‘I am sorry,’ you must forgive him. Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22	Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power.

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
