The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |

The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |

What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. | Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. |
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority. | For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. |
This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble. | This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. |
