Chinese (traditional)- It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
- If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
- “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. - I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
- All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him. - Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
- But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
- Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him. - Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
- As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
- The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.Next verse!With image
