to those who keep his covenant,
to those who remember to obey his precepts. - Sing to God! Sing praises to his name!
Extol him who rides on the clouds:
to Yah, his name!
Rejoice before him!
A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - He who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer is an abomination. - He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
- Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- The rich man’s wealth is his strong city,
like an unscalable wall in his own imagination. - Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh,
who walks in his ways. - He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
- Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name! - As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.
