Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
- And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.
- The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. - He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
