- I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. - Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart! - In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
- He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. - And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked.
The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His feet. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
- For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation. - Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. - A wise son makes a glad father,
But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. - Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
- He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints. - For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
- As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever. - But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot has held fast to His steps;
I have kept His way and not turned aside. - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
