I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word.

The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.The Lord is slow to anger but great in power, and he will never allow the guilty to escape punishment. He makes his way in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust beneath his feet.
Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul; my entire being, bless his holy name.
We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure.

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.
