- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.

- I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

- I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me;
I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that was not called by my name. - Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
- And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
- Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
- Return, faithless Israel,
declares the Lord.
I will not look on you in anger,
for I am merciful,
declares the Lord;
I will not be angry forever. - I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
- And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
