- I delight to do your will, O my God;
your law is within my heart. - But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

- I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.
- Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.
- So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
- I ate no delicacies, no meat or wine entered my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, for the full three weeks.
- Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- God shall bless us;
let all the ends of the earth fear him! - And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
