- And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

- If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
- But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- In the way of your testimonies I delight
as much as in all riches. - He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
