- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
- Therefore God also highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and light dwells with him. - For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call upon him while he is near. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.
- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds —
his name is the Lord—
be exultant before him.
Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
- Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
- Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my help and my God. - I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death.
- Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
- Take good care to observe the commandment and instruction that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, and to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.Next verse!With image
