My God, in Him I will trust.” - Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
- But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
- And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness. - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
