- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
- Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
- In the way of your testimonies I delight
as much as in all riches. - Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. - So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
- For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
- Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- A fool takes no pleasure in understanding,
but only in expressing his opinion. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.Next verse!With image
