- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

- And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
