- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
- Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
