- The fear of the Lord provides instruction in wisdom,
and to be humble is the way to honor. - The birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came to live together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.

When you are shown where the good way lies,
walk along it and your souls will find rest.
However, they said, “We will not take it.” - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Just as you do not know the path of the wind
or how the body is formed in a woman’s womb,
so you do not know the work of God,
the Creator of all. - He said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
- A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The fear of the Lord implies hatred of evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil ways and perverse speech. - No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.
- As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
