Chinese (traditional)- Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
- With my soul have I desired thee in the night;
yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:
for when thy judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
- For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.Next verse!With image
