Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Justice'
- But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream! - The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of his unfailing love. - Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow. - The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power;
in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. - Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. - Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. - To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path. - Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him! - Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun. - For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish. - Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled. - This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’
- Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way. - He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - Better a little with righteousness
than much gain with injustice. - Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute. - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
- Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.Next verse!With image
