Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Leads'
- Diligent labor always yields profit,
but idle conversation only leads to poverty. - The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall lack.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me to tranquil streams. - Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
but the end of it leads to death. - Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death.
- He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land. - Anyone who leads an honorable life walks in safety,
but whoever pursues wicked ways will be found out. - Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life,
but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them the path to follow. - The one who leads a blameless life
and does what is right,
who speaks the truth from the heart
and does not slander anyone,
who does not harm a friend
and does not scorn a neighbor. - When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble. - An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence,
but wisdom is found with those who take advice. - The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
- However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
- Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent,
but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. - Whoever observes the commandments will live,
but the one who scorns them will die. - However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life.
- Jesus addressed them once again, saying,
“I am the light of the world.
The one who follows me
will never walk in darkness.
Rather, he will have the light of life.” - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- They will never again experience hunger or thirst,
nor will the sun or any scorching heat cause them discomfort.
For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd.
He will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
May the Lord, our God, be with us, just as he was with our fathers; may he not leave us or abandon us.
